Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, in collaboration with Seiko Instruments, has created a minimalist and elegant watch called “O” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Issey Miyake watch project.
The name of the watch comes from the French word “eau” which is pronounced “O” and means water. Therefore the watch is made out of transparent material to make it look like as if it were made out of water or more precisely, sculpted out of ice. The “O Watch” will be released in July, no word on price or where it will be sold. [click to continue…]

Keeping up with the latest technology, the Mute Watch uses a touch screen type of a thing to make the watch work. Like an iPhone, you use your fingers to navigate through menus; the watch even has a silent alarm (it vibrates). [click to continue…]

I’m not a big fan of watches that use sub-dials for the hours and minutes and this Harry Winston Ocean Chronograph is no exception. The watch comes with four sub-dials, the top one is for the hours/minutes, the left one for the chronograph hours, right one for chronograph minutes and the bottom one for chronograph seconds. Other than the face I do like the case of the watch which measures at 44mm and is finished in white or red gold. The Ocean Chronograph is water resistant to 100 meters and comes with a rubber or alligator strap.

The Bvlgari Daniel Roth watch is not your average round or rectangular watch, it features both shapes. The watch comes in a 44mm rose gold elliptical case with white and black surfaces on the watch face. One of the coolest features of the watch is a “3-hand” sub-dial for the seconds, each hand tells 20 seconds at a time. If you look closely at the picture, you’ll understand what I mean. The annoying part of this watch is the 31 day calendar sub-dial, in which half the numbers face inward and the other half face outwards, very annoying. [click to continue…]
