Because of the affordability, many people like to customzie these watches and some G-Shock fans go as far as putting gold and diamond covered cases on their watches.
For those of us with limited budgets, Amp Japan is offering two customized G-Shock watches (DW5600 & DW6900) that come with hand-made silver cases and feature zirconia stones. The watches are available online for around $1,300 (¥103,950) each. Not cheap but far more affordable than putting diamonds on the case.
