tag-heuer-mercedes-benz-300slr-watchIn 1955 Mercedes unveiled the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR car at the 24 hours of Le Mans race, the car was withdrawn from the race because of the accident caused by the sister car, which killed the driver (Pierre Levegh) and 83 spectators.

TAG Heuer is now honoring the car with the 300 SLR Caliber 1887 Chronograph watch.  The watch comes in a 41mm stainless steel case and is limited to 3,000 pieces.  At the heart of the watch is a Swiss automatic 1887 caliber automatic movement.

Limited Edition Tag Heuer Hackett London Watches

Tag-Heuer-London-Hackett-WatchesBritish men’s wear retailer Hackett London and the Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer have teamed up to offer two limited edition watches.  The watches are based on Tag Heuer’s Carrera watches.

The watches have a very simplistic design and are limited to 100 pieces each.  The chronograph watch will retail for 2,800 Euros ($3,660) and the other one will retail for 1,800 Euros ($2,350).
