We wrote about the original Zenith Christophe Colomb watch way back in 2010, the Swiss watchmaker has produced various versions of that beautiful watch over the years and here’s their latest iteration of the watch, the Zenith Christophe Colomb Hurricane Grand Voyage.

This new version is a stunning piece of art, especially on the back side, where there’s an engraved portrait of Christopher Columbus, the inspiration behind this line of nautical watches.  The caseback also features a small sextant and enamelled sails, complete with red crosses, from the Santa Maria ship that Columbus used in 1492 on his voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. Zenith-Christophe-Colomb-WatchGorgeous new limited edition watch by Zenith, the Christophe Colomb watch is named after Christopher Columbus.  The whole watch is designed around the glass globe at the 6 o’clock position which holds a gyroscope-balanced regulator.

Above the globe at the 12 o’clock position is the hour and minute sub dial.  On the right side, at the 3 o’clock position sits the 50-hour power reserve indicator and on the left side is the small second sub dial.  The Zenith Christophe Colomb watch is limited to 25 pieces and will cost $209,000!  The only issue I see with this watch is how it will sit on your wrist?
