The Mute Watch

Mute-Watch-Black

Keeping up with the latest technology, the Mute Watch uses a touch screen type of a thing to make the watch work.  The watch doesn’t display time until you need to know what time it is by tapping the watch face, which activates the screen to display the time.  Like an iPhone, you use your fingers to navigate through menus; the watch even has a silent alarm (it vibrates).

Pre-Order it: $277

These are awesome watches. Can I find them anywhere in the U.S. (specifically NYC)? Great blog. Thanks!

You can order them online, I believe they started taking orders last week.

Their website says “orders placed now will be shipped September 2011.” Do you have one? Is it worth the wait? Thanks!

No, I don’t have one. I’m not sure if I’ll buy one but if you really like you should go for it, it is a cool watch and I bet none of your friends will have one and it’ll be a good conversation piece.

My theory is that metal bands tend to compete with the watch face
for attention, while rubber straps do not, and so the rubber straps tend to show the watch face off better.
