Zenith was started in 1865 by Georges Fave-Jacot at the age of 22. The luxury Swiss watch manufacturer is based in the heart of the Swiss watchmaking region – Le Locle in the canton of Neuchatel. Born in 1843, Fave-Jacot was an apprentice within the watch making industry from a very young age. In November of 1999, Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (also known as LVMH), purchased Zenith and added to its roster of companies in their watch and jewelry division.

Currently the CEO of Zenith is Aldo Magada, who replaced Jean-Frederic Dufour in 2014. Zenith had a bit of a slump within the luxury timepiece market, but seems to be on its way back to its former prominence with the implementation of the new management team.
Zenith has a strong reputation for the quality and precision of their timepieces. It is one of the few remaining Swiss watch manufacturers that still produce their own movements in-house. Zenith prides itself on its stellar quality and precision to detail. Over the years, Zenith has amassed over 1,565 first observatory prizes in chronometry. Zenith watches are recognized for their fundamental and traditional values which focus on superior mechanical precision, exceptional distinctive styling, and expert finishing.
The Zenith Men’s Defy Xtreme Open Limited Edition watch is a must have for any watch enthusiast. The Defy Xtreme line features a unique shape, which is unlikely to bear any resemblance to any other time pieces. The light, resistant, functional, durable time piece is made of titanium, with a matching unidirectional titanium bezel that houses a scratch resistant sapphire window. The case has a diameter of 46.5 millimeters and thickness of 20 millimeters. Both the band and the dial are colored silver, while the watch has an automatic self-winding movement system powered by the movement of your own body. Water resistant up to 1000m, you never have to worry about getting this time piece wet.

The Zenith 95.0527.4021/02.M530 Defy Xtreme Open Limited Edition is available on Amazon for $29,450.
